I’m sorry I didn’t have an intelligent response to this at first but… omfg. This feels really vindicating to me after all the posts I made when this book came out about how it felt like Phil (and Nick… I’d like Kot’s opinion on the too!) was queer! I’m SO pissed (but not even remotely shocked) that Marvel nixed it. Fuck them for making Kot rewrite it!
