there’s a big difference between “i’m sad because a character i was emotionally invested in was killed off” and “this character’s death served no purpose, was used for shock value, and is the product of bad writing and i’m upset about that”
you ever get mad cause marvel couldve given us a relationship between tony and steve like the one they gave charles & erik (enemies that are actually star-crossed lovers, both of them have similar opinions like tony & steve already) but all they gave us was badly written angst and a fucking flip phone cause i do and ill never not be bitter about it
All I’m gonna say is that the r*sso br*thers are stupid and they missed the opportunity to bring Tony and Bucky together by making them bond over the fact that they were both kidnapped and abused and amputated/physically disfigured without their consent and Tony would 100% look after Bucky and take care of his arm and Bucky would be so protective over Tony because wow he’s so damaged and trying his best and they’ll have this friendship that’s so fucking pure because they have both been used and manipulated for evil and they’re probably the only 2 that can understand each other’s wounds send post
yall go “omg bucky is the victim not the villain” but then say “tony would never forgive bucky” as if tony, a fucking genius, wouldnt be able to sort shit out in his head about bucky not being guilty if he had more than 3 secs to do it when you, a tumblr user slash moviegoer, managed to do so
